As the impact of the Coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to escalate, the latest order by Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer to close non-essential businesses does not affect Precision Coatings, Inc. Precision Coatings is exempt as a polyester, paper and film coater that is in the supply chain to many “essential” or “critical” businesses and industries of life-sustaining nature. Among the life-sustaining industries we support are food packaging and food package printing, medical packaging and medical package printing, as well as medical personal protective equipment. Our products are considered “critical to sustain life and human safety”.
At this time, Precision Coatings, Inc. does not expect any impact on our service as a result of the Coronavirus. All of our main raw materials are sourced through several locations using vendors that also have multiple locations.
We are currently taking steps to educate our employees in the recommendations from the CDC and WHO as well as those from the U.S. Federal, State and local Governments so we can do our part in preventing the spread of COVID-19.
The current situation is evolving quickly. Precision Coatings, Inc. is continuing to closely monitor the latest developments regarding the Coronavirus (COVID-19) globally and any potential impact it may have on the continuity of our operations.
