offers a wide range of custom designed diffusion films.
Both the gauge and diffusion characteristics (opacity)
can be modified to accommodate the customer’s needs
as well as providing the diffusion layer on a single side
or both sides of the film. The lower opacity, single layered
films can also be employed as “intimate contact”
overlays exhibiting excellent optical clarity to the under
layer graphic while providing both protection and minimizing
finger printing. |

| PCI
offers two carbon based laser ablation coatings that incorporates
an IR-UV coating and is available on an optically clear
polyester base in a variety of gauges. These laser ablation
films requires no special light protection during handling
and are completely dry processed requiring no chemicals
to process the image. These films have been designed to
replace silver halide films employed as negative or positives
to expose flexographic printing plates. These films should
only be exposed with a laser that employs a vacuum debris
cleaning capability. |
